Web Monitoring System (WMS)

Web Monitoring System (WMS)

With the advancement of internet technology, engineering monitoring techniques have flourished and matured. Web-based engineering monitoring software has become the mainstream for real-time safety observation systems, accessible through various smart devices. Its advantages include unrestricted access based on location and environment. Users can conveniently access observation data, perform additions, modifications, and instrument settings directly from their local local desktops or mobile devices. This monitoring platform, known as Web Monitoring System (WMS), developed by Sanlien Technology, leverages our extensive experience in the field of automated real-time monitoring. WMS aims to simplify and streamline the process of real-time safety observation for on-site engineers, providing a user-friendly interface for seamless monitoring.

System Architecture Diagram of WMS.

The structure of the WMS involves various monitoring instruments on the construction site collecting measurement data through data loggers. These loggers gather the data and transmit it wirelessly to an intermediary computer. The collected measurement data is then synchronized and uploaded to a cloud database. Users can access the monitoring results, reports, and change curves through a web browser on their computers or smartphones (such as Google Chrome, Microsoft IE, etc.). Additionally, users have the capability to modify system settings, instrument parameters, and manage the addition or removal of instruments.

Curve Chart Query Interface

Starting from the requirements of the project owner, supervising authority, monitoring personnel, and report processors, a multi-functional, user-friendly web-based cloud-based real-time monitoring software was designed. Its open interface allows for flexible configurations. Below are the main features of WMS:

  1. Compatible with various Dataloggers.
  2. User-specific Project Management List.
  3. Open mode for selecting instrument names and calculation formulas.
  4. Instrument location on the site plan displayed with safety status indicators.
  5. Curve chart querying feature.
  6. Report querying functionality.
  7. Irregular or values beyond the specified range alerted through EMAIL, Phone Message, and MQTT.
  8. Provides overview screens for monitoring companies and project owners.
  9. The cloud database utilizes Amazon Web Services
